1
Responsible Growth
I support the economic opportunities LEAP can bring to Boone County, but growth must be responsible, transparent, and sustainable. We must protect our water, farmland, infrastructure, and taxpayers while ensuring development delivers real benefits to our residents.
2
Data Center Accountability
I do not support the Meta data center as currently proposed because residents deserve transparency about its long-term impact, particularly on electricity and utility costs. Before moving forward, we need clear answers about who pays for infrastructure and enforceable guarantees that taxpayers and residents will not be left footing the bill.
3
Affordability
Economic growth means little if the people who work and raise families here can no longer afford to live here. I support attainable housing and responsible policies that help protect residents from rising housing, utility, and everyday living costs.
4
Infrastructure First
Our roads, utilities, schools, and emergency services must be prepared to support growth before major developments move forward. Developers should pay their fair share of infrastructure costs rather than passing the financial burden on to existing residents.
5
Good Jobs
I support attracting businesses that create good-paying jobs, strengthen our local economy, and provide opportunities for Boone County workers and families. Economic incentives must deliver measurable benefits to taxpayers, not simply reward companies for making large investments.
6
Rural Preservation
Our farmland, open spaces, and small-town communities are part of what makes Boone County a special place to live. We can welcome economic opportunity while protecting the rural character and natural resources that define our county.
7
Residents First
Boone County residents deserve a meaningful voice in decisions that affect their neighborhoods, property, and future. I will advocate for greater transparency, accountability, and public participation before major development decisions are made.
8
Opportunity for All
I want a Boone County where young people can afford to stay, families can thrive, seniors can remain in their communities, and local businesses can prosper. Our success should be measured not by the size of our developments, but by the quality of life and opportunities we create for residents.
